From start-up
to standard-setter

2011

The beginning of TAG.
We got our certificate of incorporation and began building an agency with big ambition, limited resources, and a lot of belief.

2013

We landed our first big brand moment: the Nokia 720 & 1020 launch in Kenya.
A major step that proved we could deliver for big brands and bold briefs.

2015

A season of growth.
More clients, bigger briefs, and sharper expectations pushed us to build stronger systems, better processes, and a more confident delivery team.

2018

We delivered our biggest event at the time-  ICAN2018 & CANSO with 10,000+ delegates. 

and stepped into a new level of scale, complexity, and confidence.
This season also marked the formal growth of digital marketing as a TAG service.

2020

We were ranked among Kenya’s Top 100 Mid-Sized Companies in the KPMG Business Daily Survey, coming in at number 50.

 

Then COVID-19 arrived and tested everything. Our clients, team, and partners helped us keep going and we are still grateful.

2022

Our PR team was launched as a service, strengthening TAG’s growth as an integrated agency.


We were also recognised as E-Commerce Agency of the Year at the Kenya E-Commerce Awards.

2024/25

We planned and managed our biggest event ever; the CGIAR Science Week 2025.

- 13,600+ registered delegates

- 100+ countries represented

- 10M+ in PR reach 

- 48.6M in social media impressions

We also won the Tourism Innovation Award category at the inaugural TRA Awards.

2026

Before TAG became TAG, there was Jobless Inc.

 

In 2026, we are opening the archives and sharing our story honestly — the creativity, growth, reinvention, pressure, lessons, and little bit of madness that shaped us.

 

It is nostalgic, honest, a little wild, and very us.

We dared to dream bigger, and together we turned those dreams into reality. Our collaboration with our clients has made us unstoppable.
